PERSONALITY

Allan is a diva. Simple enough, isn't it? He likes attention and definitely from the people who he has deemed to like and love. He's likely to prod and poke until he gets some kind of reaction and if it's not positive, he's completely fine with a negative reaction as well. Just don't ignore him.

He's sharp and constantly reaching for something that has more meaning to it than the every day life and grinding with routines. He doesn't like repetition and grows easily bored but part of that is just a facade. He likes security as much as anyone else, but pretends to think of himself as the fearless explorer of the unknown. He's the first to sign up on a night out and parties hard but also among the first to tire of it and just wants to curl up and watch old movies with someone who will hold him close.

A contradiction surely, he isn't exactly the best at knowing himself even if he is prett good at reading others.

ABOUT

Allan is a struggling musician in a near future world. He teaches music as his day job, lives in a shitty flat and dreams of playing music for living.

APPEARANCE

He's a bit of a rice stick, isn't he? Around 175cm tall, awfully skinny and tired looking man approaching his thirties. He looks very young, maybe to be barely twenty with an uneven haircut and freckly pale skin. He has a bit of a gaunt look about him, definitely not a friendly face. In fact he looks a bit like a jackass, his features sharp and arrogant. But he strikes a beautiful figure when he feels confident enough to pose.

He has a tattoo on his back, a crescent moon, pregnant belly down, drops of water spilling to the next crescent moon shape below. It's an old tattoo and holds power, both marking him and giving him power over Avalon.

ABILITIES

Music, music and music. He's classically taught and inspired. English language and expressing himself through it. Teaching.

Very old fashioned magic. He was taught in the old ways to worship the mother goddess and he has a connection to the land and magic in it. He doesn't really practice but it manifests itself in unwanted visions and seeing beyond the veil. He can, if he wishes, command elements and create charms. He's a full fledged priestess in a sense but definitely not eager to practice these skills.

BACKGROUND

Allan was born into a family line that has been upholding the traditions of the Avalon for centuries and centuries. The traditions were usually passed on to the daughters and they were initiated into the worship of mother goddess, becoming priestesses of Avalon.

However, then came the generation of Allan and no daughters were born. In fact he's the only one who was born at all. He has a small army of aunts and a single mother. They had been getting desperate and finally managed to produce one full term baby through magical help: Allan. Baffled at first that he would dare to born with male physique, they didn't know what to do with him.

Later on, though, they started to teach him as if he were one of the ladies.

The deal his ancestors made with the Sidhe might come to haunt him later, though.

He is classically taught in music and went to school to study music. It's his job now, teaching. However, he still dreams of the possibility to become a full time musician.

2. General build/body type: Slim, slender, but with muscles. Naturally athletic.
3. What's their favorite thing about their appearance? His crooked smile.
4. What's their least favorite thing about their appearance? Squinty eyes.
5. Do they exercise often? If so, what do they do? Yes, regularly. Gym and taichi/wingtsun
6. How fast or slow is their metabolism? Do they need to eat a lot to keep going, or can they just eat one meal a day and call it good? Fast. He tends to lose weight easily.
7. How much sleep do they generally need to feel rested? How much sleep do they actually get, on average? Seven hours is perfectly enough. Maybe gets six on average. Can do with four.
8. Do they tend to be more comfortable in warmer or cooler weather? Warm, definitely. He can deal with cold but loves warmth.
9. Do they take after either of their (biological) parents in terms of looks? How so? His mother who also had a curly dark hair and light brown eyes. He gets his height and metabolism from his dad.
10. Do they have any notable birthmarks or scars? What about freckles? Light freckles in the sun, birthmark in the size of his thumb on his left ass cheek. He's broken a few ribs a few times but those don't leave marks.
11. What's their skin like? Do they get sunburned easily? Are they sensitive to certain materials or textures? Freckles in the sun, soft and a little sensitive. But he also tans out of persistence.
12. What are their teeth like? Straight, crooked, yellow, white? How many cavities have they had, if any?
13. What color is their hair? Is it easy to take care of, or does it need a lot of attention? Black, curly, rueful. It's hard to maintain but he doesn't bother most of the time. He has a very good barber who knows he doesn't do much more than run a hand through it. It looks careless but good. Which is exactly what he wants.
14. Are they right- or left-handed? Right.
15. How comfortable are they using their off-hand? Fairly. Comes with martial arts and music.
16. How flexible are they? Can they touch their toes? Put their foot behind their head? He is very flexible, both feet behind his head and jumping split kind of flexible.
17. How's their immune system? Do they get sick often? Depends on his mood really. If he heats healthily he's fine. if not, he gets sick.
18. What's their posture like? How do they carry themselves? Good posture, straight. But he also carries himself with a lot of confidence and just a little bit of arrogance.
